I have so much to be thankful to God for in my life. Today I think about "The Greatest Commandment". "JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND.......THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF." Matthew 22:37, 39b
My bible is filled with notes, poems, and pictures. My daughter is always saying "Mom you need to clean out this bible". I get such a good feeling every time I read a note that has been given to me by someone special or notes that people give me that are so unexpected. I have cried tears of joy so many times in reading special things that have been written just for me. So today I want to say I am truly thankful to everyone that has mailed or given me a note of encouragement.
"BEAR ONE ANOTHER'S BURDENS, AND SO FULFILL THE LAW OF CHRIST." Galatians 6:2 - Let us thank God for those people who take pleasure in helping others. Nothing is to small for them, and they rejoice in doing good. They do not seek any reward. To forget about yourself in the service of others, is the path to a full and satisfying life. So I want to say that I am thankful that I do have so many of these people in my life.
"YOU ARE MY LORD; APART FROM YOU I HAVE NO GOOD THING." Psalm 16:2 -
I am thankful most of all today for GOD! For HIS blessings upon me and my family and for hearing my prayers. I am so very thankful for a wonderful husband. He loves his family and goes above and beyond to try and please. It feels really good to list my thankful thoughts this week, I want to thank Iris for hosting Thankful Thursday.

Cheryl,
An awesome post. I think it is neat how you tied them each with the scripture first.
BTW, a written note is one of the most precious gifts I can receive. I sooooo appreciate your thankful heart. Love and hugs,Lynn
Oh - the Bible - what a wonderful tool it is to just make notes and have special memories collecting in them. I opened up my old, falling apart Bible today at lunch - what wonderful Scriptures I have highlighted in them :)
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.
Blessings to you and your...
A Bible that's falling apart is usually owned by someone who isn't.

This was a great post.
I love your list! I also love going back in my bibles to see what God has shown me at that time, or to find a special something that brings back all those memories! I will never clean out my bible! But I may purchase a new one!
I love reading the notes in my Bible too. I can't count the times I've teared up reading something I've long forgotten was in there after discovering it at the perfect moment.
the quotes are very inspiring.
thanks for taking time sharing them.

Cheryl, Thanks so much for sharing. I have little notes in my Bible also. Just can't part with them. We all need encouragement. It's a reminder for me to also encourage others. Blessings on your day.
Beautiful Cheryl. It is so true that encouragement is such a blessing and so important. May God make our hearts soft and tender to those around us...
Great post thanks for sharing to us. Your family is nice and you have an adorable daughter.
Your scripture spoke to me . . . I just marked them in my Bible. My hubby got me a new one for CHRISTmas and it is going to take me a while to break it in. Have a blessed day.

Just a wonderful post!!!
And I love your Bible. It sounds so special!!!!!
I wouldn't take anything for the little notes and stickies in my Bible that have been given to me. I love seeing the pages in an older Bible of mine from many years ago where my daughter wanted to be like Mommy and write in her Bible. Scribble marks everywhere! What a cherished blessing!
Thanks for sharing your list.
Your TT posts are always great. This week is no exception.
Livin' With Me
How sweet! Hand written notes are so encouraging.
I'm glad someone's else's Bible is full of 'stuff' too!
Another wonderful post! I don't keep a lot of papers in my Bible, but I do write in my Bible. I keep notebooks. I have many of them where I write out prayers and thoughts. Thanks for sharing again.
I keep all my special notes too...I have gotten better over the years but I truly do love finding notes and re-reading them from dear friends and family that have push me in my walk. Blessings!
Thank you for coming by my page. Come back anytime. I really enjoyed reading your TT as well. And your kids are beautiful!
Cheryl,
This is so true, I always have little slips of paper falling out of my bible too. It's like a little file cabinet for me!

I agree wholeheartedly with this post.
Cheryl,
I was just talking this morning with a pair ladies at church about how wonderful encouragment is. How sweet that you have notes in your Bible to remind you of the blessing you are, and that others are to you. Wonderful post. Be blessed.
