HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA! Today I want to write about one of the best things that has ever happened in our lives. My baby girl has been such a joy for all of us. She is 17 today. I just can not believe it. I remember being at the hospital looking at her thinking that she was the prettiest thing ever and oh she is the best child! Slept really good. Hardly ever cried. Always willing to give up, her feelings or things, for someone else, family and friends alike. Because of her personality she has been walked on but she still goes on and does not dwell on it. As I write this I am crying (not because I am sad, but because my heart is overflowing with joy) because I love her so much and it is very hard to think that she is ALMOST all grown up! The Lord has been good to Tommy and me with her. She has been such a great gift to us. I'm having a hard time letting go. So today, as it is "Thankful Thursday", I want to THANK YOU GOD FOR GIVING US A PRIZE! I am so thankful for the times that we have shared. She is such a blessing. I want to share a part of our life with you through her pictures. I could not choose just a few so I kind of went crazy! Sorry!

Her birthday fell on a wonderful day (Thankful Thursday). I want to pray this prayer for her:
"I LIFT ANNA UP TO YOU AND ASK THAT YOU WOULD PUT A HEDGE OF PROTECTION AROUND HER. PROTECT HER SPIRIT, BODY, MIND, AND EMOTIONS FROM ANY KIND OF EVIL OR HARM. I PRAY SPECIFICALLY FOR PROTECTION FROM ACCIDENTS, DISEASE, INJURY, OR ANY OTHER PHYSICAL, MENTAL, OR EMOTIONAL ABUSE. I PRAY THAT SHE WILL MAKE HER REFUGE "in the shadow of YOUR wings" UNTIL "these calamities have passed by" (Psalm 57:1). HIDE HER FROM ANY KIND OF EVIL INFLUENCES THAT WOULD COME AGAINST HER. KEEP HER SAFE FROM ANY HIDDEN DANGERS AND LET NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST HER BE ABLE TO PROSPER. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR YOUR MANY PROMISES OF PROTECTION. HELP HER TO WALK IN YOUR WAYS AND IN OBEDIENCE TO YOUR WILL SO THAT SHE NEVER COMES OUT FROM UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF THAT PROTECTION. KEEP HER SAFE IN ALL SHE DOES AND WHEREVER SHE GOES. IN JESUS' NAME, I PRAY - AMEN
