We were formed for God's family. The invitation to be part of God's family is universal, but there is one condition: faith in Jesus. The Bible says, "You are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus." Your spiritual family is even more important than your physical family because it will last forever! Our spiritual family-our relationship to other believers-will continue throughout eternity. (Taken from the book "The Purpose Driven Life")
Being with other Christians this past week-end has lead me to do my Thankful Thursday on family. Spiritual Family. You know we will spend eternity together. The Spiritual friends that I know here and through the blogging world are so special to me. I am so thankful for all of you. Can you see it??? Eternity together??? How Awesome is that?? So, I want to Thank YOU God for all of my "SPIRITUAL FAMILY" that I really love with my heart.
Oh, and I am very thankful that Anna was chosen to represent our school again. She makes me proud. I will blog about her later when I get all of the details. She just text me today and said that she got "YEARBOOK EDITOR" also! Oh how excited I am for her. She is the best!

Oh, Cheryl, I am smiling so big after seeing your bad self on the back of that motorcycle in the picture. My hubby has one and loves it... I mean... he really loves it. I rode on the back of one with him a total of two, maybe three times, before he wrecked and totalled it. Thanks to God, he had only minor injuries. He used the insurance money to buy a new bike just like the totalled one. We've got young kids and now when he asks me to ride with him, I think, "There's just not enough Kevlar in the world to convince me to get back on there yet." Love the picture!
you are so lucky to belong to such a good church its not easy finding good fellowship in churches today ,myabe its b/c I live in the city and we don't do get away's like you all do just one day confence's and then everyone is off and on there way again, so you never really get to know anyone that well or have a good support group! you are bless my friend.marina

Oh that's so sweet. I just want you to know that I am also thankful to be doing rounds every Thursday and visit Thankful Thursday participants. Everyone's been part of my week and I'm thankful for sharing these moments with you.

i loved your post. We are family, I"ve got all my sisters with me!! We sang that at a conference I went to. Praise God for internet sisters. Spring in Alabama is beautiful. I did drive in the storm yesterday but pulled over at a business when it got really bad.
